If you ask most online entrepreneurs what they want to get out of their business, they’ll instinctively mention something financial: “I want to make $1 million by my 30th birthday.” Fair enough. Most of us have grown up hearing stories about self-made millionaires, so money is often where our minds naturally go when asked about definitions of success. But there is so much more to life.

When a business owner talks about money as a goal, they rarely consider the toll achieving it could take on their life. If getting to a financial endgame costs the relationships of those you love because you don’t have enough time to spend with them, was it really worth it?

The fact is, there is more to life than just money. A lot of business owners lose sight of the fact that there are four other areas of need that define success in life, not just business. Once you understand these four areas, you can set goals that stretch beyond the myopic aim of pure financial gain. After all, this is your life we’re talking about. Money is just one part of that.

When Is Enough… Enough?

We might as well get this one out of the way first: Yes, making money matters. Your business needs to generate enough revenue so that money doesn’t dictate your choices in life. Ask yourself what will become possible once your business succeeds to the point where money doesn’t restrict your life choices as much as it might today.

The trick here is to strike the right balance between financial independence and having a healthy relationship with the other aspects of your life. Find a way to make this yin and yang work for you, so that you know when working hard enough is… enough. Making $1 million might be great, but so is $100,000 if you feel great mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally,

Non-Financial Factor #1: Mental Health

You’re nothing without your mental health; pure and simple. Sure, in today’s go-go society, stress, anxiety, and depression run rampant from sea to shining sea, especially in the minds of business owners. The decisions we make on a daily basis carry tremendous weight. The very livelihood of our families could be at-stake.

If your business becomes or already is successful, think about how it can satisfy your mental health. Are you able to unwind after a long, hard day? Can you detox from the stress of your business around the family dinner table at night? 

Deeper questions might arise if you become so successful that you don’t need to be as present in your business. For example, how do you continue to acquire knowledge? What sort of daily rituals and behaviours do you participate in?

Maintain mental health now, give your business an optimal chance to succeed, and later on, permit yourself the freedom of mental space from achieving your goals.

Non-Financial Factor #2: Physical Health

If you aren’t slothing it on the couch all day, covered in cookie crumbs, having to survive on ramen noodles for the fifth night in a row, what becomes possible for your physical health? Another amazing factor of life to enjoy when your business becomes successful is the fact that cookie crumbs might become creme brulee and ramen noodles might become pasta primavera at a five-star restaurant instead of your cramped and filthy living room.

Running a successful business should also mean that you have the time to eat right, exercise, and sleep well. That may not seem possible in the early days of a business when you’re still figuring out how to balance your time while growing a customer base, but it’s crucial to get there as soon as you can. After all, running a business from your home is hard enough, try running it from a hospital bed.

Non-Financial Factor #3: Spirituality

Many online entrepreneurs are abstract thinkers, meaning we think in terms of the big picture, which translates easily into a spiritual nature. Most of us feel a need or at least a desire to be connected to something bigger than ourselves.

Once your online business is successful, how does it affect your spirituality? Do you have more time to look within yourself and think deeper about your purpose in life? Are you able to meditate and/or pray as often as you’d like? Are you able to temporarily shut off the outside world and tap into your creativity? 

 A healthy spiritual side can be a wonderful byproduct of a successful business. Once it’s up and running and you have an established customer base, make sure to dedicate even just fifteen minutes per day to address your spiritual needs, and you’ll find a deep level of fulfillment in life that no financial status can satisfy.

Non-Financial Factor #4: Emotional Needs

A large part of running a successful online business is having emotional resilience and being able to roll with the punches. What becomes possible for you emotionally when your business is creating the life you desire?

If finding a significant other to share your life with is important to you, make sure you dedicate the proper amount of time to finding and nurturing that relationship. Put in the necessary hours to your business to satisfy its financial needs, but always keep enough energy in the tank to enjoy life with that special someone. This becomes even more important if you have children.

More Than Money

The next time someone asks you what you hope to achieve from your online business, think a little more deeply. You might have a dollar number set aside as a goal. That’s fine, but go beyond that. There are other factors to consider. Think about how you want to feel mentally and physically, how satisfied your soul can be, and if you want enough energy for a family or another emotionally satisfying aspect of your life. 

Instead of simply saying, “I want to make $1 million by the time I’m 30 years old,” maybe say something like “I want to make enough money to not have financial stressors. I also want enough time to work out four days a week, while living a life of constant learning. Some day, I want a family to share my success with, and I hope to find a lot of the answers I’m looking for in my connectedness to others and the world around me.”

Sure, that answer is a little longer and more in-depth, but once you get it, write it down, keep it in a safe place, and refer to it anytime you need guidance in your online business.

When starting out, it is an uphill battle for many entrepreneurs to find their voice in their industry and get their business out there. That means to love all the ups and downs that come with entrepreneurship, especially in the early days. However, the reality is something different. The process of starting up isn’t celebrated at all. Only the end result- if it ends up in what most people define as success. People only want to share your story once you’ve been through it, not while you are living it.

But this is how we get the one-sided version of entrepreneurship. The side that only shows how people are successful and make lots of money being an entrepreneur. The side with all the challenges and the ultra hard startup days remains hidden. When we only see the glory, it’s no wonder that people have a fear of failure and will quit at the first sign of trouble. Most people don’t even realise that every single entrepreneur faces challenges and no-one is an overnight success.

There needs to be a balance of what is depicted in the media about entrepreneurship and that begins with seeking out startups and letting them share their current story and their vision of where they are heading.

All entrepreneurs deserve to be role models, not just the ones who have “made it”. 

These people have just as much to offer an audience, if not more, in terms of inspiration for other entrepreneurs. They are living all those unique start up challenges right now. Those early years can be isolating and exhausting. There are extra challenges that startup entrepreneurs face, such as bootstrapping or working late at night after their 9-to-5 or once the kids have gone to bed.

These first years of a business are not insignificant. Startup entrepreneurs deserve to share their story, why they started, their vision for a better world and what they are working on right now. Whether they achieve “success” or not is irrelevant, because even if their businesses aren’t around in another five years, they are still role models to other aspiring entrepreneurs. That’s because they took a chance that many people don’t. They took the chance to make a difference in the world, create a different life for themselves and put their idea out into the world. All of which is something to be celebrated.

For those who have podcasts, media sites, article submissions, events or conferences, basically anyone who is in some sort of position where they can help fellow entrepreneurs build awareness of their brand and their vision, please use your platform for good. Use it in a way that shows the many sides of entrepreneurship. Most claim to be about helping others build their businesses and create success and now it is time to prove it. Helping others also means sharing the stories of people who are relatable right now, not just those who were once upon a time.

And for those of you who are trying to get your voices heard- keep going, ignore the rejections and just keep asking. Keep sending the emails, making the phone calls and trying to establish the right connections. Keep voicing your opinions on what matters to you in any way that you can. Your time will come when others will stand up and realise that you have something great to offer the world. Then they will be knocking your door down to get you on their podcasts!

In recent years the topics of the power of our thoughts and human potential have been studied more and more, both in the lab and real world. These studies have shown undeniable proof of what thought leaders like Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay have always known – our thoughts are incredibly powerful and create the reality through which we experience our lives.

And while changing one’s thoughts to embrace more empowering thought patterns and beliefs can change one’s life in ways they never thought possible, we also know that entertaining the wrong thoughts can lead to self-sabotage, imposter syndrome and missed potential.

There are 3 common phrases that seem harmless on the surface, and yet their acceptance and belief only serve to keep people playing small. 

1. It’s lonely at the top

It’s no secret that human beings are tribal creatures. We were made to live within communities and support each other. In the mind, a community or a tribe means safety. And ultimately survival.

When we buy into the notion that it’s lonely at the top, we activate one of our most primal fears to work against us. This fear of being alone, of having to possibly be rejected and having to reject or let go of those that we love, leads to a fear that we won’t survive on our own. This sets the fear center of the mind (the amygdala) into a proverbial lockdown, where we sabotage our success to maintain the relationships and connections we rely on and need.

Instead: recognize that success is defined on our own terms. And while the journey to success will push us to grow and improve many aspects of ourselves, we can also choose to maintain the relationships that are most important to us in life. Afterall, how we spend every moment is a choice – just as making money and growing a business requires effort, so do the relationships that we care the most about bringing with us on the journey.

2. Be realistic

Being realistic is the enemy to entrepreneurship and innovation. To be realistic means to put a limitation or ceiling on what you are capable of achieving. And what is realistic depends completely on one’s belief systems about themselves and the world around them.

Society has never in history been moved forward towards the innovation and technological advances that are a standard in our world today by people being realistic. It was once scientifically believed that humans could not run a 4-minute mile. Roger Bannister, however, refused to believe this notion and since he broke the 4-minute mile barrier in 1954, thousands of others around the world have done it since.

It was unrealistic to think that humans could fly across oceans in a metal tube, until the Wright brothers invented the airplanes. Early computer sales people were told that computers were a phase, today you can find one in most every home and business.

When entrepreneurs buy into the notion of being “realistic” they let their fears and limiting beliefs tell them what’s possible. Instead: believe in the extraordinary and your potential to create it!

3. If I am grateful for what I have, I’ll lose motivation to achieve more

Experiencing gratitude for what you have and what you have achieved will not leads to complacency or a lack of motivation to continue to grow. In fact, gratitude does quite the opposite!

Our unconscious minds, specifically the Reticular Activating System, is designed to seek more of what we focus on. When we focus on making money, we are continually searching for more ways to make money. When we focus on gratitude, we unconsciously search for more ways to be grateful or more things to be grateful for. Therefore, the more gratitude we experience, the more motivation we’ll have to continue to grow and achieve.

In fact, neuroscientist Andrew Huberman from Stanford University shares that by celebrating our wins and practicing gratitude leads to having more overall energy. When we are constantly in a hustle mode, always striving to achieve more and more, our bodies continue to produce cortisol, adrenaline and noradrenaline – a combination of hormones that is known to deplete our mental and physical energy in the body. If you’ve ever experienced a hit of adrenaline (whether jumping out of a plane or dealing with an emergency) you know this to be true – while you may experience an initial hit of clarity, focus, energy and strength, as soon as the adrenaline inducing event is over you find yourself exhausted.

Dopamine and serotonin on the other hand buffer the effects of these stress hormones so we can experience true limitlessness. Dopamine is released in the body when we celebrate our wins, both big and small. Serotonin is released when we experience and feel grateful for anything in life.

Moving forward, start celebrating your daily wins and find time to practice gratitude for what you already have so you can ride the wave of energy and motivation to your next win, and the one after that!

Online businesses, on the other hand, tend to be thriving. Starting up a business of any description is always going to be a risk, but starting up an online business during a pandemic may not be quite as risky as it first appears.

Reasons to Not Consider Starting an Online Business During a Pandemic

As we said before; people are buying online much more in the midst of this pandemic. However, it doesn’t mean that they are spending a lot of money. In fact, a lot of people no longer have the income that they had in the past. This means that they do not have much money to spend online at all. So, while there are sales to gain from an online business, there is going to be a lot of competition for the limited amount of cash. This means that you will need to do something incredibly unique if you want to stand out from the crowd.

You must also remember that starting an online business is a learning process. We are not telling you that you can start up a business right now and be making money hand over fist by tomorrow. It may be weeks, sometimes months before you can see any sort of return on the money you have invested. Even then, there is no guarantee that you will make money with an online business but if you put the work in, you could see a return sooner than you think.

Running your own business takes a dreadfully high amount of motivation too. As in, you really are going to need to knuckle down and do the work. 

Creating an online business is going to demand a lot more time and effort from you than a standard job. If you are not willing to put in all of that hard work, then this is absolutely not going to be a good business for you. The reality is, you can’t get demotivated from your first failure. Heck even your third or fourth. See this as a positive and learn from it.

While we are on the subject of money, you do need to remember that starting an online business is going to involve some investment. It doesn’t matter whether you go down the eCommerce or affiliate marketing route, you are going to need to be spending money at some point. 

Therefore, if you do not have a lot of it to spare and you need something to see you through this pandemic, then you absolutely should not start an online business just yet. Wait till it passes, then consider it.

Reasons Why You Should Consider Starting an Online Business During a Pandemic

Right now, you have a captive audience. People are not leaving their homes to buy goods. The vast majority of people are doing their shopping at home. This is fantastic if you are running an eCommerce website or work as an affiliate because people are already going to be naturally searching the internet for goods that they would have normally have gone to their local store for. It is likely that this is something that will continue for the foreseeable future, so if you gain a foothold now, you may profit for a long time to come.

Starting an online business takes a whopping amount of time too. It is likely that you didn’t have the time to spare when you were working a full-time job. However, now you are likely to be stuck at home for the long term so you can really knuckle down and get an online business rolling. An example of this is you will learn how to do SEO, create content, and run websites. So, even if you are not planning to do this long term, it could help your employability later on. 

If you keep your online business running when you do finally enter full-time employment again, you may even have a nice little bit of side income that can see you through when times get a little bit rough in the future. A better scenario will be to quit your full time job altogether and join many other entrepreneurs in the life of freedom.

In fact, starting a business is all about creating something out of nothing. That’s what programming is all about too! By being able to program, you’re able to start all sorts of online businesses, whether they involve creating mobile apps, developing websites, or building any type of online software.

The second ability, the ability to automate processes, is equally important. Running a fast-growing and successful business demands that your processes be automated. It’s by automating what you do that you ultimately save time and money. Ultimately, it’s automation that allows you to outperform your business competitors who lack the programming skills to do so.

Whether it’s video production, video editing, animation, or graphic design, having the ability to create videos is an invaluable skill to have as an entrepreneur. Why? Because every business needs to market its products and services, and video is one of the most effective ways of doing this.

A simple 30-second sales video can cost small businesses thousands of dollars to create, but if you’re able to create these videos yourself, then suddenly all that money can be spent in other ways to further your business. You’ll also be able to create far more marketing content than your competitors, who are still resorting to hiring third party sources to create their videos.

Creating marketing content isn’t the only way video production skills can come in handy for an entrepreneur. In fact, these skills can be used as the foundation for your entire online business. Starting up a popular YouTube channel like “How It Should Have Ended” or “CinemaSins” can be a super fun and profitable business venture to pursue.

Another route to take is to use your video production skills to produce training videos or instructional videos for other businesses. The possibilities here are endless. You just have to put some thought into pinpointing how you want to utilize your video production talents to make money.

3. Web design skills

They say all an online business needs is a website and a way of getting traffic to it. While this might be oversimplifying things, it’s not too far from the truth. If you’re going to start an online business, your website is obviously going to play a huge role in whether the business succeeds or fails. This is why having web design skills can give you such a head start on your entrepreneurial journey.

Most new business owners have to spend loads of time and effort figuring out how to use a web development platform like WordPress or Wix to create their website. Either that, or they spend thousands of dollars to hire someone like you to create the site for them. Even once they get all of that done, they’ll still need to educate themselves on how to optimize their site for SEO purposes and increase conversion rates.

However, if you’re a skilled web designer from the get-go, all this stuff is likely easy peasy for you, which means you’ll be able to get it done quickly and move on to other matters that can help accelerate your business.

4. Creativity

Sure creativity is a “soft-skill” and not a quantifiable “hard-skill,” but the reality is – creativity is really the crux behind whether or not you’re able to come up with that awesome business idea you can build off of. In fact, some would argue that your ability to think outside the box is the one most important skill necessary to succeed as an entrepreneur.

Creativity is needed right off the bat to come up with your all-important business idea, and it’s going to be what you use to separate yourself from the rest of the competition. So, if you’re someone who’s worrying to yourself thinking, “I just don’t have any real technical skills that can give me an edge over other entrepreneurs,” keep in mind that some level of creativity and willingness to really think outside the box is what is far more important.


The beauty of starting an online business is that it doesn’t require you to have a boatload of money or to be some genius with inborn talent. Everybody’s story is different, and while some people choose to not share their stories, I’m proud of mine not only because of how far I’ve gotten, but also because of where I started. It was not normal for my family to have much food because we grew up poor. Today, I have a comfortable life, and appreciate that when I look back, I see I’ve made difficult but fruitful decisions. Today, I am an Entrepreneur, an IT guide, a project consultant, a professional sales trainer, an author, and a youth awardee.

Here are the 5 things I did on my journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur:
1. Don’t wait for an opportunity, create one

When I was old enough, I started working in a call centre to support my family. If I had waited for a better opportunity, either I would’ve started very late or worse – never started at all. Yes, it was a small paying job, but it was something. We must learn to make big things happen from small opportunities.

I learned a lot from my first job. I could experiment more freely in my first job. So if you are offered a small paying job today and you have limited options, I would suggest you go for it. 

2. Never quit learning

We were not taught English in school because we were taught all our subjects in Gujarati. Due to this, I could hardly speak a word or two of English. I couldn’t afford to go to classes because of time and funds. I learned English by hearing others communicate, and I picked up on it. Now I can speak, read, and communicate in it.

This gave me the confidence to learn and master what you love. I learned enough to write a book, named ‘You Gotta Close The Deal’ and got it published. Never stop learning, knowledge isn’t bound to age, you must seek and offer it all your life.

3. Accept rejection, correct your mistakes, and improve yourself

I never went to college, hence I do not have any specialised degree. When I thought of switching jobs, I was rejected many times because I did not have a degree. I had acquired some soft sales skills, but when I sought jobs, people with college degrees and no skills were given preference over me.

I accepted the rejections but never thought of staying stagnant and giving into my failures. I knew my pace would be slow, but no one was going to stop me from trying.

Accepting rejection made me accept reality and realize what I lack along with making the most from what I have. I could not go back and secure myself a degree, but I could procure more skills to the point where no one would ask for a degree. Today I’m just a high school graduate who is a sales trainer and teaches MBA students.

4. Grow in the environment and learn all you can 

I have always made the best out of any situation, and learned all I could. Once you feel you’ve learned all you can or that you’re not growing anymore, it’s time for you to leave and choose your next challenge.

5. Maintain consistency, don’t quit easily

For the hope of a better tomorrow, we pick up positive habits, make resolutions, join classes and more. However, only some succeed in following through. A lot of people join the gym in January, but only some meet their fitness goals. Why? Because they give up after a few days. They are not consistent.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. Hard work doesn’t pay off instantly. You have to have faith in yourself, and be okay with potentially struggling. You need to keep your composure and be patient as the situations unfold in your favor.

When I had a small paying job, I tried to be the best at it. When I got rejected in the first sales job, I did not quit going to them. When I was writing my sales book, there were many nights when I wasn’t satisfied with what I had written so I kept scribbling my ideas and working on my thoughts. I was persistent since I never skipped a day on writing.

A lot of us start something which has great potential, but only a few of us continue it to the point where it turns out to be great. Being consistent is equally as important as it is to start. Don’t wait, and don’t quit easily. You will make it one day!

I started with little knowledge and skills in my pocket. As I moved ahead of my journey, I earned confidence, dreamt big, made friends, gained knowledge, and still have space to welcome more of the things life has to offer me.

Sometime in the middle of 2019, the World Health Organisation (WHO) added ‘burnout’ to its handbook of International Classification of Diseases or the ICD-11 as an occupational phenomenon. Chronic workplace stress, endless to-do lists, constant feelings of fatigue. Entrepreneurs who are working on ideas to build and/or grow something from scratch are very well acquainted with these terms and feelings. As an organisation grows, there is an increasing number of decisions to be made and departments to be led. It only grows from that point on and the workload never ceases to exist.

This workload gets trickier to combat in the case of an entrepreneur because you are solely responsible for the organisation’s operations as well as strategic health. In the midst of this, it is easy to forget about one’s own health! It doesn’t help that the idea of overworking and hustling has been glamorised to the extent of detriment. It’s not new that the hustle culture has its cons. As entrepreneurs, we need to put in extra effort and time, but establishing healthy habits to prevent burnout is equally important, in the long run!

Here are a few steps one can take to safeguard against the abyss of burnout:
1. Be protective of your routine and time

If you want to make the best of your time and establish healthy boundaries between working hours and non-working hours, you have to be extremely protective of your routine and time. Having a routine cuts your anxieties in half. How? Think of it this way: there are plenty of uncertainties in the act of running a business. If your routine will be unpredictable as well, you may not end up accomplishing much.

Here is a hack: Start your day with the thing that is on top of your priority list and that requires your creative inputs. If you start your day by doing something monotonous and uninspiring like responding to emails and texts, you will lose out on the best hours of your day. 

Use the wee hours of the morning to set your schedule for the day, or better yet, make a checklist the night before. This simple exercise can help prevent a crisis of decision fatigue. You should know your breaking point and take a pause when you reach it during the day.

2. Identify the triggers of your stress

The most prominent symptom of burnout is stress. While some levels of positive stress can serve the purpose of pushing you to perform, too much stress over a prolonged period can push you to exhaustion. It is imperative that you identify the triggers and activities that exacerbate your stress and anxieties. If there are particular instances or meetings that cause you panic or stress, you can work to pluck out and eliminate the cause of the stress in that specific situation. If you can keep stress at bay, the battle is half won!

3. Meditate and exercise to create mind space

The time you spend meditating and/or working out will help keep you away from the screens and the workplace in general. There are additional benefits of meditation and yoga, including stress alleviation. Yoga is also said to develop and strengthen your counter-stress response system called the parasympathetic nervous system.

4. Unplug

Drawing from the idea of the creation of mind space without distractions and noise, you should set aside some time each day when you can unplug. In this age of hyperconnectivity, you can get overwhelmed attending all the phone calls, and parading from one meeting to another. Take a break every day when you have a little time to yourself so your mind can rest. This is also the time you can set aside time for quiet reflection and try to live mindfully.

5. Build a great team

This is easier said than done, but if you put together a dream team, you can count on them to shoulder part of the overall responsibility and decision-making. They can focus on specific departments and look at things from a vantage point that you may not have, being the boss. You can delegate work to good workers and managers – work smarter, not harder!

6. Redefine self-care

As an entrepreneur who is hustling hard to kick projects off the ground and experimenting every step of the way, it is important to define your idea of self-care and then treat yourself to it. It could be meditation or working out for some as discussed before, or reading a book or watching TV or cinema for others. Work-life balance is key.

7. Volunteer

When they talk about how giving feels good, they aren’t exaggerating. But how can giving back to society help you prevent burnout? It is the same principle – when you give your time instead of money, you are choosing to connect with the real world. For instance, if you volunteer at a dog shelter, you are coming in contact with helpless dogs – and such experiences can help put things in perspective. You could be teaching underprivileged kids or at a community college, mentor young people, spend time at an old age home or community clinic. Volunteering is truly a way of getting unalloyed, unconditional happiness. 

Part of why involvement in an activity that doesn’t reap monetary benefits is beneficial is because it is believed that we can easily fall prey to converting every hobby or recreational activity into a capitalistic pursuit. And that is only an invitation for more stress. When you are involved in a pursuit without any strings attached and without expecting anything in return, you are able to enjoy the process for what it is.

Burnout can be easily avoided if you know where to draw the lines. Even so, the passion of an entrepreneurial spirit is hard to beat. Make sure you strike the right balance.

Most people who want to become entrepreneurs, choose this career because they think it’s easy and that they won’t have to work under someone. What these people don’t know is that being an entrepreneur is one of the most challenging things to do. Yes, you do enjoy flexibility in it. Yes, you do get to be your own boss but at the same time, if the business falls apart and if something goes wrong, you wouldn’t have anyone else to blame for it but yourself.

This is because in entrepreneurship, “you” are your business and if you want to achieve goals and become successful at a skyrocketing pace, you’ll have to fuel yourself up first.

Speaking of which, today we are here with some of the most important things that you need to do daily to take care of yourself and of course your business:
1. Get Enough Sleep

One of the most important things to do is to get enough sleep and this rule applies to every single person in the world. People don’t realize that their sleep affects literally every single thing. From their energy levels to their productivity and creativity at work, it all gets affected when you don’t get the proper amount of sleep. Especially as an entrepreneur, your top priority should be to sleep for at least 6 to 8 hours everyday because that’s when your brain will function at its best.

Most entrepreneurs that we know, work even at midnight which is absolutely wrong unless you have something extremely important. The point that we are trying to emphasize here is that “don’t ever sacrifice your sleep for your work” no matter what!

2. You Deserve A Break

You are running a business all on your own and even if you’ve hired employees, you still can’t go on and on without a break. Humans are programmed this way and their brain and their body gives up at a time when there’s too much stress and pressure around. Now, whenever you think you’ve reached the point where you are about to give up, try taking a break. Believe it or not, this can do wonders for you.

It’s not necessary for you to go to a whole month vacation, in fact, even a one day break every week is more than enough. Because if you think working 7 days a week will bring you closer to your goal then you are wrong. Act and work like you are designed to and don’t exceed your body’s capacity to handle stress.

3. Exercise 

In entrepreneurship, you mostly have to sit in front of your laptop/PC and work constantly. In simpler words, there’s little to no physical activity involved in most businesses which is why taking some time out to exercise is extremely important. It’s not just about being physically fit, in fact, when you workout, your body releases some wonderful chemicals and endorphins that increase your energy levels and improve your mood. We aren’t asking you to workout for 3 to 4 hours everyday, in fact, even if you walk for 40 minutes everyday, that’ll be more than enough!

4. Appreciate Yourself 

Celebrate your achievements, even if they are small. Sometimes self-appreciation can motivate you in ways that nothing else can so patting yourself a little on the shoulder and treating yourself is important. In fact, if you’ve got a team working with you, make sure to create a positive work environment and practice corporate gifting. Appreciate those employees that really work hard and gift them something as a token that yes, you do acknowledge their efforts and struggles.

As said earlier, in entrepreneurship, you are your business and if you want your business to grow, you’ll have to take care of yourself first. Prioritize your health, give yourself a break and laugh. Once you start focusing on all of this, we assure you that all of the positivity will start reflecting in your business because that’s where the magic lies.
